Grading procedures are determined by Orange County Public Schools.
Individual grading procedures are used at the classroom level.
The grading scale used at Rock Springs Elementary is as follows:Kindergarten - 1st Grades
2nd - 5th Grades S= Satisfactory 90-100 = A W = Working on Skill 80 - 89 = B N = Needs Improvement 70 - 79 = C U = Unsatisfactory 60 - 69 = D0 - 59 = F The criteria for Honor Roll for grades 2 - 5 is as follows:
Principal's Honor Roll All A's in Academic Areas with All S's or O's in Special Areas, Academic, Personal & Social Development Skills /No N's or U's A-B Honor Roll
A's & B's in Academic Areas with No More Than Two N's in Special Areas, Academic, Personal & Social Development Skills
B.U.G. Roll
(Bringing Up Grades)For Students Not On A or A/B Honor Roll That Bring Up a Grade In a Subject Area and Does Not Have Any Grades Drop
